Between Highland Storms
Monday, December 22, 2008

After a cold and snowy November and early December the weather has got milder and stormier here, so when a day looks good the best thing to do is to put Christmas chores to one side and get out if you can. We have had a series of Atlantic weather systems coming in on the West Coast over the last week brining stormy, rainy weather but by Friday Saturday was forecast to be fair, so I just had to jump on my bike and get out for an hour or two. I am glad I did because the bad weather returned on Sunday but not before I had got in some cracking views of Ardgour and Ardnamurchan from the Ballachulish Bridge.
Whatever outdoor activities you fancy, keep up to date with all the weather in the West Highlands over Christmas and the New Year by checking out the Outdoor Capital weather pages.,
